FAQs

1

Do I need to fluff my pillow?

Grab the corners that are diagonally opposite to each other and push them in and out repeatedly. Do the same with the remaining two corners. Congratulations! Your pillow will now feel as good as new

2

What is Responsible Down?

BAISIHAN upholds rigorous standards for animal welfare. We exclusively source RDS-certified down, meaning our materials are traceable to ethically raised, humanely treated ducks and geese. This certification by IDF-22-422389 verifies our down comes as a byproduct of the food industry and aligns with The Five Freedoms.

3

What is fill power?

Fill power only applies to down products and is a measure of the loft or ‘fluffiness’ of the fill. The higher the fill power, the larger the down clusters – this is key to the quality/plumpness of the product.

A fill power of 750 (our Down Duvet / Pillows) is considered extremely high and means the duvet/pillow will retain its plumpness for a long time, trapping more air and giving an incredibly warm but lightweight product.

How do I clean my pillow?

Washing your pillow in the washing machine at least every six months is a good idea. In most cases, washing your buffer is as easy as running it through the wash on a short, gentle cycle – washing down pillows with cool water and low drying cycles. Use gentle soaps on the down alternative and wash pillows together for a balanced load.
